Hi, my name is Tim Hooper. I have a question for you. Are there any areas in which you can say, "I am not as successful as I would like to be." when you look at your life? If you are like most of us you probably said yes to at least one or more areas. This column is for all of us.
My Intentions for writing this column are to provide all of us with support. A way to stay focused and learn from each other as we grow. Accountability partners, if you will.
Join us as we take a Journey Toward Success. Let me know what areas in which you specifically have challenges.

Hello. My name is Nathan Hooper and I love to cook and create economical and easy-to-prepare recipes that don't consume much of our time. Over the past 20 years I have been involved in the food industry with a catering business and 2 previous restaurants, as well as working in a number of fine restaurants and institutions preparing food. I enjoy the food planning, the process of preparation, the outcome, and of course, the response from those who enjoy the food whether it is family and friends or a large group of people at some fine occasion. I hope to show you that there is a difference in simple and easily prepared recipes. Simple denotes something that has little or no presentation. I will show you how to prepare outstanding meals that are delicious, easy, healthy, time sensitive and range from appealing to elegant in presentation. I hope to inspire your creative skills and give you many way to enjoy being at your table with those you love. Happy Cooking!

Bio-
Nicholas Rozier- I am a 28 year old husband and father of three (so far) who has dedicated his life to serving the Lord. I am currently studying for two undergraduate degrees, one in pastoral ministry and the other in Bible and theology. I was raised in the Church of God and Assemblies of God but have watched as the Lord has shaped my understanding of Scripture and changed my theology. I would say that I am now a reformed theologian, on the major doctrines or "issues" I believe in the five "solas" of the reformation, the five points of Calvinism and in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You might say that I am a charismatic Calvinist or a Bapti-costal. One of my greatest joys is studying the Word of God and discussing it with others, which will be the main focus of my articles. If you have any questions or topics that you would like discussed, send them to me in an email and I will try and address them. I thank the Lord for your interest and pray that I might be a blessing to you on His behalf.
If you would like you can also follow me on my blog entitled "For His Glory".

Hello there fellow reader! I am Lisa Steele. I have been writing since I was a teenager but my writing career really took off after writing for a class I took in college. My professor submitted a story I wrote to a publisher friend and he encouraged me to "never stop writing". He has used my writings to send as proofs to other writers as a "how to" write to be published. I have written stories for battered women shelters on domestic violence, children's books that are awaiting a response from publishing, and a few short stories. My articles will make you laugh and, perhaps even cry, but they will also give you knowledge. I believe knowledge is power. You can conquer anything as long as you are informed. My articles will be focused on life lessons. I will write about dealing with cancer, teenagers, friendships, dating, and life in general. I can't wait to get started...look for my first article coming soon. Happy reading!

Deadlines…I’m not good at them! To be honest, this is my first column and deadline. I had no idea what to open with until I remembered that term “deadline.” More than anything – I want my column to be the opposite of dead lines – Life Lines! Because if what I write has no life breathed into it- it will have no purpose or meaning for you; it would just be a waste of time. And time – none of us can afford to waste.
When I look back on the forty years of my life it seems I may have wasted my talent for creative writing; I could have used it more, but didn't. I’m still satisfied. Why? By now I realize that my time raising and providing for my two girls has brought simple joy and fulfillment in everyday life. I’ve awakened to find that I made the right choice – I gave up the things that could wait to find I have the things that couldn't wait.
However, I’m deeply passionate about the latent dreams still to pursue. In the last couple of years I gave up bookkeeping I’d done my whole adult life to do something for less money but what I love: photography. It’s allowed me to spend more time with my family and church ministry – my constant passions. Now that my girls are older though, Lord-willing, I’m going to enjoy pursuing things like my love of sharing thoughts in “ink.” Maybe I’ll remain “unknown” to the end, but I know this passionate Pentecostal redheaded single and determined mid-life mom shares at least something in common with all of you. Hopefully, you’ll discover life-giving words that encourage you, strengthen your faith, and make you think, or even laugh. – I CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND OUT…meet you at the next deadline!
